For example, WINDSORCARE’s staff-to-resident ratio is significantly above current safe practice guidelines. In addition to our outstanding staffing ratios, our retention rates show an average length of service of 6 years, with one in five care staff achieving 15 or more years here at Windsor House. Not only are we very proud of our stable and long serving workforce, these professionals are significantly above the national industry goal for qualification achievement. A full 82% of our care staff have achieved the highest qualification available in the industry.

Rest Home & Hospital Level Care Services
WINDSORCARE has a total of 60 individual rooms dedicated to Residential Care at Hospital level (40 beds) and 20 beds at Rest Home Level.
Compared to industry norms, each individual room is above average in size and is appointed with its own private bathroom.
Residents have access and are encouraged to participate in an activities program run by qualified members of the NZ Society for Diversional Therapy. The activities program spans all seven days of the week.
Some of our rooms are considered Premium Rooms.
Our fee for these rooms is $25 per day (subject to change).
